He scissored in his arms as the finish to the technique and this time he flipped his blade, slicing off the hair, that Battousai gripped, the ducking the slash and stabbing at his side.

Kenshin leaned out of the way, keeping an eye on the guards because they hadn't attacked. He also watched his target in case he was transported.

A few of the guards were trying to get the man out of the room. The others were now firing rifles and pistols at Kenshin Kazeshin blocked his path to his target.

Kenshin fended off the bullets with a few twists of his wrist. He disappeared suddenly, his footsteps tearing across the tatami mats and whipping up dust. The trail quickly thudded towards the man.

Kazeshin used his ears instead of his eyes, and slashed at Kenshin before he could pass. Once he gets into the carriage he'll be safe. Even Battousai can't match horses for speed...

Kenshin ducked the blow. 'I have to get him before he gets away.' He raced after the man and his guards, gaining fast.

Kazeshin reacted by throwing both his swords at Battousai, and then leaping into the doorway to block him.

Kenshin fended off the two swords, flinging them to opposite sides of the room. He skidded to a halt as Kazeshin blocked the narrow doorway. "Step aside."

Kazeshin shifted into a fighting stance. "No."

Kazeshin held his position. "No." There were only a few seconds left before his client boarded his carriage.

Kenshin sighed before disappearing again. He ducked under Kazeshin's arm, taking a blow to the arm from his sword, but kept running.

Kazeshin performed a series of backflips and brought a midair snapkick down at Kenshin from the air. As he landed he shifted into a roundhouse kick.

Kenshin was blown to the side, but merely stood up and kept running. Under any circumstances must he let the target escape.

The man got into his carriage and still Kazeshin attacked, this time with a flurry of punches.
