Kazeshin saw it coming and smirked. "Blade trapping!" He snapped his blades together around the hilt of Battousai's sword to snare it in a position where he could no longer use it properly, however at the same time, limiting Kazeshin's options as well. "So, you're Hitokiri Battousai...?"

Kenshin switched hands quickly, drawing his second sword. He immediately sent another horizontal supersonic slash at Kazeshin's chest area.

There was a clang of steel against steel, as Kazeshin jumped, and blocked the slash with the grave on one leg. Then using his blade trap to yank Battousai towards him, he tried to do a face snapkick.

Kenshin tucked in and rolled back so that his feet met his, then sent both his feet at Kazeshin's chest, more to wrench his sword free then to deal damage to him.

Kazeshin twisted, in midair. He could tell that the Battousai had almost no training in hand to hand combat, but he released his sword. But, before the Battousai could regain his footing he charged again slashing with both swords in a blow that would force Battousai to hold a defence rather than simply parry it aside and go to his own strike.

Kenshin caught the blow with the hilt of his sword, allowing it to nick his finger slightly. He ducked out of the way so that he tunneled under Kazeshin, taking his back once again, and sending an "X"-shaped slash at his back with both his swords.

Kazeshin performed a blocking motion then slashed in a similar manner to before. "Kazeshou Nitou Ryu! Scorpion Slash!" If Battousai defended or dodged the attack, Kazeshin would perform a knee strike into his gut, then snap into a kick which generally left opponents vulnerable for a followup attack.

Kenshin, however, came up with a quick-witted maneuver. He slid out of the way as a half-dodge, catching the slash with the back of his blade by holding it out. He then sent another thrust at Kazeshin's gut from a squatting position.

Kazeshin jumped out of range. "Kazeshou Nitouryu: Hikazesen!" He started his technique by tossing one of his blades high in the air. To most people watching it would seem like a foolish move. However, just as the blade fell again in front of him, he whipped back his second sword, and struck his first one whipping through the air at Battousai.

Kenshin batted it aside, sending another shallow cut across his cheek. He slipped his swords back into their sheathes, then slid into Battoujutsu stance.

Kazeshin, knew he was at a safe distance. At the current range, Battousai couldn't get in a hit with Battoujutsu, it would come up quite a few meters short.

Kazeshin paused. It won't be nearly as effective, but... He shifted his sword into a reverse grip and started forwards at Battousai.

Kenshin stopped. 'So, he's coming to me...' he thought. He gave another inch, just in case.

At the last instant, Kazeshin shot very low, to avoid Battoujutsu. He spun across the ground. Kazeshou Nitou Ryu: Senpuu rusutai!" He performed three fast slashes at Battousai's legs followed by a thrust at his back as he passed him.
