Zoro sighed. "Well, it doesn't matter if you know or not." He took off his shirt. The 'bumps had been metal staples that he had used to create a stitch on a scar that ran from his left shoulder down past his waist. And from what could be told, it looked like it had come only centimeters away from cutting into his vital organs. It also looked as if the staples were about the only thing holding it together, and that if they weren't there, it would reopen immediately.

Kenshin took a slow breath, then headed back inside. "Dinner in 5 minutes," he said simply. He walked back into the kitchen and slid the door closed behind him.
Kaoru looked up. "What was going on out there?" Kenshin didn't answer.

Kaoru looked between Kurama and Kenshin. "Tell me what happened!" she demanded.
Kenshin still remained silent. He merely went on peeling the potatoes.

Kurama sighed. "Well, If you insist..." Kurama then told Kaoru about their match, the Shimaneki Sou, and Zoro ended up fainting.

Kaoru blinked. Then, she turned to Kenshin and yelled, "You let him fight for you?! I can't believe you!!" Kenshin merely closed his eyes and kept peeling.

Megumi let out an angry shout as the door that Kurama had just come through was opened by the Pirate Hunter. He was still bleeding badly, and it was soaking through his white shirt. He didn't seem to notice though.

Kaoru jumped. "I guess...that's Zoro, huh?"
Kenshin stopped peeling. His eyes were still closed, though.
