Name: Saito Hajime (Fujita Goro as a covername)
Age: 30
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Alignment: Good (barely)
Origin: Rurouni Kenshin
Appearance:
Weapon(s): A katana with a slightly larger curve then normal.
Personality: Saito is a cold merciless man, although when playing Fujita Goro, he acts kind and understanding, almost to the point of becoming naive. He lives by the code of "Aku Soku Zan" or "Swift Death to Evil". Any form of misjustice will soon find itself on the end of Saito's blade. He is snide very often, and enjoys taunting Kenshin's friend Sanosuke. He considers Kenshin weak, for taking a vow against killing.
History: Saito was the captain of the third unit in the Shisengumi. He was supposedly the strongest in the group, and was known for his 'Gatotsu' attack. Out of the entire group, he was the only one who lived to Meiji. He took on the name 'Fujita Goro' and became a policeman. However, unlike his age old opponent Himura Kenshin who has grown weaker in the years, Saito's blade has only become sharper. He fought against Shishio Makoto and killed one of his best men, but was beaten by the ex-Hitokiri in battle. Since then, he's returned to his life as a policeman. Saito was responsible for recruiting Kenshin to fight Shishio.
Attacks:
Standard Gatotsu: Saito holds his sword parallel to the ground and then moves with lightning speed and thrusts with enough power to tear a massive hole in a stone wall. He performs an equally powerful sideslash if the move is dodged.
True Gatotsu: The same form as the standard style but this time, he holds the blade in an upwards arc and slashes down diagonally. It is faster and more powerful than the standard.
Void Gatotsu: It is simply an anti-air Gatotsu, where Saito performs the Gatotsu upwards.
Gatotsu Zeroshiki (Gatotsu Zerostance): This is Saito's ultimate attack. It is a Gatotsu and point blank range. Saito whips back his arm and thrusts it forwards in the Gatotsu form, putting his entire uppwer body strength and the spring of his legs into one single thrust. It has failed only once against Shishio. It has enough power to tear a man in half.
Disciplines: Saito is a master in the Gatotsu style, and it is possible that he is the founder. There has also been evidence that he is a martial artist (see volume 8).
Hobbies: Smoking, insulting Sanosuke, calling Kenshin weak.
Rp Sample (quoted from volume 7): Saito watched the famous fight merchant. "So the Battosai is not at home... then... I shall leave him a gift." He drew a concealed sword from the sheath on his back. The fight merchant swung a punch at Saito, who didn't even try to dodge. He felt the punch from the man knock him back, yet it didn't hurt very much. He got up. "I see your punch lives up to its reputation." He enjoyed the look of shock on the others face. "But only in this age of weakness called Meiji. In Kyoto, during the Bakumatsu, a punch like that... would be nothing!" He charged with the Gatotsu, smashing the man through the wall. The sword he used broke in two. "Ah yes. Cane swords are easy to carry, but have the durability of toys." The m,an rose to his feet and charged Saito, who shoved the fragment of his sword embedded in the mans shoulder even deeper. He clapped his hand over his mouth. "Time to sleep." He smashed the fight merchant into the ground, knocking him out. Saito left.
