Zoro heard the words 'serve' and 'meal'. His response came in the form of the boulder sailing through the air, and landing with an enormous splash in a nearby river. He started back towards the dojo.

Kurama already served the meal when Zoro came back. He saw the boulder on the river. "Er...looks like I underestimated these guys..."

Sanosuke plopped himself down next to Yahiko, who'd already sat down. He crossed his legs and arms, chewing on his usual fishbone.

"Well...." Kurama got a pair of chopsticks and started staring into the dish. "Sanosuke-san, is it true on what you said about Kaoru-san?"

"Yeah, sure as hell..." Sanosuke said, his eyeballs turning to eye Kaoru across the table. Kaoru was glaring back.

Zoro started scarfing down food at an alarming rate. Dishes actually seemed to dissapear right off the table. He paused for a moment. "Sorry if I'm eating too fast... everyone on my ship eats like this, since it's the only way we can get to the food before our captain does."

Kurama blinked at Zoro then at Sanosuke and Kaoru, then he looked at Zoro. "Okay..." He took a small bite, and as Sanosuke said, it did taste bad, but he trie not to show it. "Well...it's okay...I-I guess..." Kurama took a small serving and started to eat slowly.

More food kept dissapearing. "It's nowhere near good, but I've eaten food made by worse cooks."

An anime vein appeared on Kaoru's head. "Why does everyone keep saying that my cooking tastes bad?!?!" "Cuz it does," everyone replied right after the words were out of her mouth. Kaoru sulked. "Does it really taste that bad...?"

Zoro kept eating like he'd never seen food. "It's bad, but there are worse cooks. Maybe I could bring our ships chef over to teach you a few things, he's the best cook in East Blue."
